A wonderful afternoon in the restaurant castle barton. a quirky 'grandma's dining room ' vibe and tasty eating at a very cheap price. will return very soon to enjoy another chocolate roulade with real tinted cream, although the braut tomaten brush and game cake were just as good!
Great discovery. really nice family business restaurant. in beautiful environment. external and internal seats are available. a bit of climbing steps and a stabbing to get it, but it is worth seeing when they see the beautiful listed building. there is also a holiday home attached to the restaurant. sit down and enjoy their meal while listening to the local animal world, which could be better than that.
This is an interesting and forgotten place, very close to the main roads of torquay. I enjoyed the scenery here and that closed the link has to sir walter raleigh. I didn't go to the burg as it was outside the opening hours. castle is still from a family. incredible, that is so close to to torquay.
It's an 80s menu prepared by someone who knows what they're doing, much of the menu is prepared in house. Service is a little slow but polite and professional. Sensible prices. There is a lovely garden if the sun is out.
