Captain Flint's - South Hams

We saw this place on the way to dinner and decided to skip dessert at the restaurant we visited and have a crepe instead. It is a restaurant, but appeared closed, instead it offered takeaway crepes. There was a large choice of fillings and the...crepes were made as you waited, they were lovely, far better than we anticipated!

Perfect pizza, the thinnest of crusts possible. Great toppings. Ordered pizzas, every single one superb, not a crumb left. Big thumbs up for the Banoffi pie!

Fast and friendly service! the pizzas and crepes i can honestly say… we’re the beat i’ve had in a long time! look forward to eating here again!

Having visited this lovely chilled restaurant for over years I’m happy to say their food is still amazingly superb. This year covid has interfered and they have adapted perfectly still great food but just in a box, take away carton. Pizza part of...the week and then burgers and pasta mon- wed. I’ve been twice and haven’t been disappointed- front of house Jane is so friendly and chef husband cooks the best food- happily satisfied with their take away food in this weird covid world we are living- it’s a must if you are staying in Salcombe . See you next year hopefully we will be eating in them

We went in as a group of on Saturday evening. There were a few problems and mixed reviews about this place. My dads spaghetti meal was cold. A couple of drinks were flat and had to be taken back. My daughters milkshake was supposed...to be vanilla milkshake and it just tasted like Milk with no taste of vanilla. Some of the crab cakes looked burnt and the salad that came with the crab cakes looked a little sad, with some of the leafage a bit brown. No-one came to ask if our meal was okay until we came to ask for the bill, and my mother told them what was wrong. To which the reply was I'm sorry. And that was that. We had read some fantastic reviews about this place, but to be honest I wouldnt go back here.
