Cafe Bovisands - South Hams

Thrown into caffe after I had seen my father in put, scattered ash from a boat directly from the rocks in bovisands. we took the caffe, with all family members who showed up, and that was nice and very cheap. the staff was great and hopeful that we take so many seats. many thanks and we will soon be back for some more beautiful meals, but not so many of us next time

This caffe offers an excellent location and a fantastic view. they have even made far glasses available for their males, as they look over the breakwater. the staff is friendly, helpful and very friendly. the whole caffe is clean and beautifully decorated. they have a decent menu of floor tiles and sandwiches/ panninis, as well as baked carrots with various fillings/fills. there is also a selection of cake to go with coffee and tee. they also make breakfast / all day breakfasts that I suspect are cooked from fresh ingredients from scratch, although we 't try these as for once we felt like something else. (scrambled ei is apparently an option to a small extra cost (50p) the ice cream selection is good, not only a standard freezer full of Walls basics. eating is reasonable and comes in decent portions. it makes a good stop on a walk or to lunch with a view. only two things that took it. from 5 stars to 4 stars: the child food was served in a box (like a happy eating). ideal for farewell, but not so useful when eating. the chips were from frozen chips. fortunately they were fried, which made a difference. they were certainly hot, but not real chips. the fish (for fish and chips) was not a fresh fish. it seemed to be the prepared frozen broken filets. not as tasty as some unfortunately, but ok. the pizza-drill was also a small gland, although it was pfefferoni. I understand that it can be difficult for a small caffe at the end of the high season to supply home cooked food from fresh ingredients, but that was, imho, a missed opportunity.

Always a worthwhile place to go. Nice selection of food and very good service. Views to die for!
