Tailgate Picnic - South Hadley

Who doesn't love a sandwich from Tailgate? This morning I placed a walk-in order for 3 sandwiches for a lunch at my in-law's and although it was busy, my order came out quickly. I ordered the sun-dried tomato sandwich for the first time (the Harvest is my usual go-to) and was soooo impressed. Best mozzarella I've had in a long, long time. The prices are fair for the quality, for sure. $8.00 for a large sandwich and deli pickle isn't bad and the staff is always so pleasant.

We order takeout sandwiches from here every week or two. Calling ahead and then just popping in to pick up is fast and convenient, and the staff are always friendly. Good selection of chips, drinks, and sweets. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the veggie sandwich is a bit inconsistent- sometimes it's nicely loaded but other times the portions are on the smaller side.

This place is ****. The food is ****. The staff is ****. The owner is ****. Avoid at all costs or it will infect you. Yes I worked here. Yes they are all assholes.

Tailgate is one of my fiancé 's favorite spots in his hometown. I got the slim chicken (added cucumber and onion) and it was delicious! Nothing crazy at all, but if you want a solid sandwich/wrap it does the trick. My fiancé always gets the chicken tender sandwich and it 's his absolute favorite. The quality is nothing amazing, but again when you want a solid sandwich Tailgate does the trick. There 's also a ton of drink, chip and bakery options which is great.
