I essentially grew up in this pub in my teenage years and 20s and came back here to have a meal with my parents some 20 years later. The decor basically hasn't changed since the mid 90s at least, but the atmosphere in this pub has always been very cosy, welcoming and modest. The food I had (the bacon burger) was really nice, tasty simple pub grub and good value too. Gets 5 stars not just for the nostalgia then. Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian options available. Not quite so many for vegans though. Parking: Spaces are limited when the pub is busy, but there are plenty of quiet suburban streets nearby you can park up in.
