Dunkin' - South Elgin

This Dunkin' is my usual stop because it's conveniently located, but I often feel uncertain about whether my order will be accurate. The staff is generally friendly, and the coffee and donuts are usually good, but I’ve encountered too many instances of incorrect or incomplete orders to continue making this my primary location.

I ordered a medium iced coffee with oat milk, brown sugar, and cold foam on top—pretty straightforward. However, the staff seemed to struggle to get my order right. When I brought it up, they reacted defensively. It felt like I was dealing with inexperienced young employees who weren't equipped to handle their responsibilities properly.

I'm really starting to dread visiting this location. They are incredibly slow, and there's almost always a mistake with my order. Even when there are just one or two cars in line, it somehow takes them 20 minutes. Common issues include receiving the wrong orders and being charged incorrect amounts. Half the time, I'm not informed until I'm about to pay that they don't have cream cheese available. I've had to leave the line at least twice in the last month because of all the time wasted. I believe the morning staff is responsible for most of the complaints I've heard. When I mentioned to an employee today that this situation is getting ridiculous, she simply agreed.

I ordered a coffee online at this location using me free drink perk. When I went to pick it up not only was it cold. They also forgot to put the flavoring I asked for in my coffee. As well on the same trip me partner had orders us food, and they forgother sandwich and and mine was cold also. When asked how the forgot it they replied ?we ran out of everything bagels? so thesolution is to not give me the the sandwich entirely? Won?t be coming here again.

I come here every morning before work as it?s right next to my house the only one on my way. They always just throw my donut in face down so literally all the icing comes off it?s a complete waste of money. The morning staff always have a badattitude. I find that the evening staff are a bit nicer. Really wish they would put a little bit more effort in. It?s not thathard to just gently place the donut in the bag.
