Great people. Very friendly and the food is lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and have been back and recommended this lovely place to friends.

This restaurant offers the best carvery in the area, with a wide variety of options including cauliflower cheese and bacon, cheese, and pancetta mash. The food is absolutely delicious, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. I can't wait to come back again.

I held my husband's wake at this restaurant on 22/05/23. The turnout was over 50% more than I had expected (I had booked for 100, but nearly 200 people came). The management and staff were fantastic! They continuously prepared extra food and made sure every guest was well-fed and satisfied. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently attended a friend's funeral at the Jennings Rooms, where the wake was held. The food provided was fantastic, with beautiful presentation and a wide variety of options. Our friend would have been very pleased with the service, so thank you for helping us give him a memorable send-off.

We went to the Jennings Rooms for a meal on Wednesday lunchtime. Everyone went above and beyond with their service to look after us and were so welcoming and pleasant. My husband and daughter opted for the carvery and the quality was absolutely outstanding and you could really tell the time, effort and thought that has gone into the preparation of the food. The roasted parsnips were the best I have ever tasted. I am vegetarian and the chef/owner came from the kitchen to ask me what I would like as a vegetarian option with the carvery vegetables and gave me a choice which was ready in no time. The menu also has many choices that look so good. The homemade desserts were amazing and the lemon meringue melted in your mouth. We will definitely be visiting again very soon as they have just released a new menu and I can’t wait to try it.
