I ordered the 5 tacos for $10 I chose the crushed beef on corn tortillas and they were absolutely beautiful. Large house also made hot sauce and they come with Salion and Zilantro and fresh lime for squeeze. I also ordered the Chiccaron plate. Come with rice and beans and plantains. It was very good. I prefer my chiccarons to fried craspier and maybe a little bigger bite size, but they were still really good and the sides. Also an ice cream coffee. You do it very well. The staff is very sweet and very good customer service, which I very much like to repeat.
I'd rather order Plantains by myself who were very good. I didn't like the fried cheese they served with them. The special breakfast, (egg, bacon and Cuban toast) was great. The eggs were cubed/cooked directly, the bacon was crisp and the bread was fresh. Good prices. I will return.
That was the best Cuban food we had since we left Miami. We ordered the grilled use with juicy onions, Cuban toast, yellow rice, sweet curtains and black beans. My granddaughter had the grilled pork chops with sawed onions, yellow rice, black beans, Cuban toast and sweet planans. The whole meal was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The restaurant was clean. The staff was wonderful. Waiting time was reasonable. This restaurant has definitely brought a lot of taste to the Volusia County region. All I can say is thank you for coming. I'm sure it'll be back soon.
Just had the best roast pork I?ve had since I moved from south Florida. Tiny place at the end of a strip mall, in my experience that?s where you can find the best foods and this was one of those situations. Order at the counter, a few tables to sit at and they were doing a great takeout volume too. I had the aforementioned roast pork which was super tender, moist and so flavorful you didn?t need the extra lime. The black beans were perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of liquid to soak in the rice but not be soup. The sweet plantains were just at the border of caramelized mushiness and had that perfect toothsome bite with the crispy/chewy edges. My father had the fried pork chunks which were a bit less flavorful but still expertly prepared with well rendered chunks of melty fat along with the tender meat. Everything is super clean and the service is very friendly. I told the woman at the counter (the owner I think? that it was the best Cuban food I?d had in 10 years and she was beaming. I absolutely need to go back for breakfast (chicharron breakfast?!? Yes please and lunch (croquettes sandwich! .
