Applebees Neighborhood Grill And

I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon, but it was completely packed, which I took as a positive sign. On Tuesday, in the early afternoon, it was less crowded, with just a few customers. The food was excellently prepared and tasted delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Our server was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be returning!

The server was excellent. However, the food took a while to arrive, likely due to a shortage of staff. While the food itself was tasty, the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than what I'm used to.

I recently visited Applebee's with my wife specifically for their chicken tortilla soup. Instead of waiting 30-45 minutes for a table, we decided to sit at the bar. I ordered the soup along with some burgers while my wife selected something else. When my soup finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that the crock wasn't even half full, especially for a price of $3.95. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the bartender, who explained that the portion sizes were standard and that the crock of soup wouldn’t fill up more. Honestly, I went to Applebee's mainly for that soup, which I believe is the best. Unfortunately, the service we received from the bartender left much to be desired. Overall, I think the experience could have been better.

I've been with Applebee lately and has been very happy since. The food is absolutely delicious! Most of the waiting staff was very pleasant. Last time, our server was a bit eager when he brought us the check without asking if we wanted dessert and we were planning to get desert, but he apologized and took the check back, took ours or then brought a new check. I know the shortage of personnel is terrible and happens everywhere. Totally great experience. I came here last October, came new years ago and after new years, eventually to the end of January and last weekend. I love tasting their holiday drinks!

After a horrible experience at another business in the area earlier in the day, we were pleasantly surprised to have the exact opposite experience of that here. There was a short wait to be seated despite empty tables (probably short staffed, I get it), but once we were seated we were treated like royalty. Our server, Christopher, was extremely personable, quick to greet us, hand us menus, and begin taking drink orders; once everything was ordered, he constantly checked in on us, gave us updates on how everything was coming along, and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need anything. After dealing earlier with customer service employees who hated their jobs and showed it, it was refreshing to have someone who clearly loved his job like Christopher did. As for the food, well, it's an Applebee's, your typical chain restaurant; it's fine. Nothing to write home about, but it was very reasonably priced; if you're looking for something in the area to eat that's safe, this is it...assuming you can find it, that is. This review is all about the service, which was five stars-plus.
