Cheers Music Venue And Karaoke

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The crowd consisted mostly of college students who were just finishing midterms. Everyone was friendly and eager to have a good time. There was a lot of interaction between the crowd and the karaoke singers, who performed on a great stage. The restaurant was packed with people. We rated the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. We highly recommend trying the Chicago Dog and French Fries.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I have to share my experience. Last Friday (September 29th), I went to this restaurant with a group of friends (there were 4 of us). When we arrived, everything seemed fine. We were quickly greeted and we placed our drink orders. Two of us ordered garbage cans, one got a beer, and I got a Tito's and cranberry. We were looking forward to enjoying the live music and relaxing, but when we discovered dead gnats in two of the four drinks, we were absolutely disgusted. We brought this to the bartender's attention and he offered to make us new drinks, but we declined. He returned our card and we decided to leave. Later, we noticed a charge on our account for the drinks we never consumed due to the bugs. We did not receive any new drinks, and I couldn't bring myself to drink mine after finding the bugs. It is completely unacceptable that we were charged for this. To make matters worse, the owner refused to give us a refund and accused us of lying in our reviews. This behavior is unacceptable, especially for an owner. If a business cannot take responsibility for serving contaminated drinks, they should not be operating. People could get sick! We definitely will not be returning to this restaurant and I hope others do not have the same experience. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. Everyone I was with had been to Cheers before and they were also disappointed. As a petite person, I found the bathroom stalls to be horrible. The food was not good and the service was terrible. The entertainment was a mediocre 3 out of 10. The average price per person was $10–20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 2 out of 10.

Edited to add: We were not given replacement drinks. We literally left immediately after seeing the dead gnats. I am honestly disgusted at the terrible customer service, disgusting environment, and now this reply, which shows that they refuse to take responsibility for their actions. No replacement drink was provided and I will make sure to tell everyone that this place sucks and ensure no one comes. Definitely go to Brothers or any other place in town. The bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab, we replied that we were going to be splitting the bill four ways. He took one card and let us know that we could just split it four ways after the fact. After taking a sip from my drink, I noticed that they were not one, but two dead gnats in my drink. After noticing this, I was no longer interested in drinking a drink from the establishment, so I took mine and one of my friend’s to the counter to show the bartender, get my money back, and leave. While waiting, I noticed that my friends drink also had two dead gnats in it. I showed the bartender and he gave me back my card and asked if I wanted another drink. I assumed that meant that I would not be charged. One of the other people with us also left her drink and one person had a closed bottle of beer that he did finish because he figured it was not made there, so it probably wasn’t as bad. After leaving, I noticed that the bartender had charged my card for all the drinks $40.50) one of which had one sip out of it, and 2 of which had not been drank at all. I was not only disgusted by the fact that they were four dead bugs between two drinks, but also by the fact that I was charged for 3 drinks that weren’t drank due to the disgusting conditions.

I was one of the people in a group of four previously mentioned in a bad review. We went to the bar and got four drinks, two of which had two dead flies each in them. we took them to the bar and show the bartender and he gave us the card back so we thought we would not be charged. Instead, we were charged $40 for three undrank drinks and 1 beer that was drank (because it came in a closed container . The customer service in resolving the problem has been terrible, and the person responding to these comments even outright lied and said that we were given replacement drinks. all of us are college students and we are definitely telling her friends not to go to this disgusting, rude place. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this bar like the plague unless you like disgusting conditions that will probably make you sick and rude bartenders : there are way too many good bars in town for you to subject yourself to this terrible place.
