Costa Coffee - South Ayrshire

A very typical Costa. Hit or a miss on service pending how busy. Parking right outside. Could be in any town.

Was in yesterday , Sunday 23 July 23, for 2 large coffees to takeaway. Ordered on the app for speed. Whoever the barista was on duty clearly needs to check their measurements when heating the milk as both coffees were half full with the remainder froth. If I’d have had time I would have returned them. Expensive enough but to be short changed on portion size isn’t acceptable.

I went into the restaurant to grab a coffee to go at 5:53 PM. The door was open and there were still 8-10 people sitting inside. A rude young girl with a ponytail abruptly told me they were closed. I explained that I only wanted a takeaway, but she firmly and abruptly insisted that they were closed. She seemed poorly trained and rude. I'm sorry Costa, but you have just lost a loyal and regular customer. You need better, more polite, and professional staff. There is a proper way to treat and speak to customers, and this girl clearly doesn't have a clue. Very disappointed.

Regular visitor to this coffee shop throughout 2022 and will continue to be through 2023. Great for a coffee and a cake at anytime of the day. Very clean and coffee and cakes are very nice.

This is Clean well represented Costa, when I arrived i asked to use the toilets first and it was perfectly Ok, and the staff sad so, the drink was good quality. and the tables were cleared quickly and tables cleaned
