Shirley's Place - Souris

This place has kids cooking and it's not great.hit n miss for sure. I was not pleased with quality and service.

Enjoy take out food with a smile. The clam dinner was excellent as was the service. They only accept cash but there is a banking machine only minutes away. Highly recommend this and there is a great lookout of the Harbour to enjoy while you enjoy your meal.

Quick hot take out food. Nothing fancy but hot and quick at a reasonable price. Love those hungry man burgers.

Visiting Souris for the day and was told eat @ Shirley's .... best place for fish and chips. Located near the wharf, Initially excited to try given the rave review we heard from a local resident, Ordered the seafood sampler that included haddock, calamari and scallops, complete with dinner roll, coleslaw and fries. Huge serving but taste and flavour were disappointing; believe all items fried in the same oil. Yuk! Roll was stale. Take-out only, Limited tables/chairs on site. Busy enough with locals stopping by and getting ice cream, Won't be back, that's for sure,

Our first time was in 2015 and there was hair in my hungry man meal. On the Burger. In 2016 our first experience was ok. Just ice cream. Our 3rd attempt was very disappointing. We left before we could even place our order. We were in line (confirmed everyone else had been taken care of) and we waited to place our order. The lady went to the opposite window which she had been using for the previous 5 customers and started serving the ones that arrived after us. Still not acknowledging us. We left. Not going back there.
