A family with Greek roots, we made reservations at Akropolis for 16 people ages 3 to 83; Our own Big Fat Greek Family Dinner with delicious food, good wine, and perfect service. Most of us went for one of their three set menus, all delicious and reasonably prices. House Red is a Syrah from Ageia and delicious. The servers are very professional and very serviceminded. Possibly the best place for Greek food in Copenhagen, true and authentic in taste, beautifully presented, and served in a lovely atmosphere.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, one of the better Greek restaurants in Copenhagen. I visited as a part of a group and we all enjoyed it. The menu contained everything one would normally expect in a Greek restaurant. Nice lamb chops. Despite being a fairly large restaurant only one other table was occupied (mid week visit) so we virtually had the waiter to ourselves. Good value for money. Fairly limited wine list I personally would have liked to have seen some better quality Greek white wine. Fairly close to Forum Station on the Metro. I would happily make a return visit.
This is a Greek restaurant about 30 min walk from the city centre. Serves all the usual Greek specialties. I had the kleftico and I would say this is Greek inspired rather than typically Greek.
We actually felt we were in a Taverna in Greece since all the food on the menu was truly authentic Greek food and drinks of course. Excellent friendly service was provided and I would therefore highly recommend a visit to this delightful Greek Restaurant. I should imagine parking is a problem but we were lucky enough to find street parking close to the restaurant.
The food hasn’t arrived yet. But at least, we’ve waited for it for 45 minutes... The staff seems nice, but not interested in keeping in touch with the guests.
