We were there for coffee on Saturday at 3.30. We'd be the only guests. A little frightening lady from the kitchen told us that the cake is not ready yet. She could only offer us apple cake. That was then ice cold and really didn't taste very fresh. In the guest room, which is very cozy, there were still glasses and half empty bottles from the day before, the tablecloth was dirty and full of crumbs.
We felt very comfortable. Nice talks with the owners in the evening at campfires and drinks. Breakfast lush with regional products, or self-made spreads. Well-being guaranteed. We'll be back to sleep in the hay.
Very delicious food, friendly and welcoming. We were thrilled!
The Heuhof is a lovingly restored former farm with restaurant and court shop. Since we took part in the ADAC Endurolauf in the near Sontra/Husarenring (6 km), we stayed only 1x. The friendly owners made breakfast for us on Sunday at 06:30 so that we came to the race start in time. The hayyard is really recommended.
