This restaurant only accepts cash and is a bit on the pricey side. You'll need to have a decent amount of money with you. The restaurant is dog-friendly and has a very casual atmosphere. Be sure to try the sweet potato fries - they're delicious.

We were hungry and came home from Napa. Saw a sign for Schellville Grill and stopped. I'm so glad we made it. We share the huge Painted Hills Tri-Tip Sandy....

We thoroughly enjoyed the draft local beer, friendly and well-informed staff, and delicious food that we ate every bite of. The homemade potato salad stood out as the best side dish. It was a fun experience eating next to local farmers and listening to their conversations.

The food was quite good. However, for a BBQ restaurant, they don't focus much on BBQ sauce. There was none available on the table. The restaurant could use some renovations. While I understand the rustic aesthetic, it felt like the place was a bit neglected.
