Especially Louisiana ones. The braised ribs were so tender cooked to perfection ?!!! The service was great. Everyone seemed happy to be at work, lol. Great atmospher. Seems like a great place for drinks also.
We stopped here on a whim as we drove down the coast. We had an RV camper and were able to park so that was a big plus. These were the BEST OYSTERS I have ever had in my LIFE. and the Brussel sprouts were amazing too.Service was top notch, every person who worked here was extremely friendly and welcoming (and I'm from Canada so I consider myself a good judge of friendliess ?)Very clean and unique restaurant with a ton of character of tons of outdoor seating and indoor.
After seeing the good reviews my party and I decided to come here for dinner. The prices are incredibly expensive, with 4 diet cokes being $14, and 3 deviled egg halves being $12, so we expected amazing food and service, but this was not the case. We had to ask for refills after waiting a long time as the waiters never came to check on us (although I understand it was very busy and there were only two of them). It took an hour for one of our party members to get their food. That same member also found a hair elastic in their ranch. The salad was just chunks of lettuce and overall the food we had was not worth the price. This place was awful and extremely expensive and I cannot recommend anyone to visit this place.
I've been wanting to try this place since we always just drive by it on the way to the beach. I'll start out by saying I am glad we did the food is very tasty and the patio is a nice place to sit. Maybe we caught it on an off day though because the service was terrible. There were two servers and it was not especially busy. Everything was so SLOW...from taking our order...20 minutes later our appetizer came out (sorry, but $12 for 5 onion rings is absurd), 30+ minutes later, after having to ask for water refill and eta on our dinners (nobody came by to offer anything at any point), the food came. Obviously it had been sitting awhile as it was lukewarm at best. Such a disappointment and given that the dinner for two (one adult, one kid) was $77 with tax and tip with no beverages other than water, is just absurd. I don't mind paying for good food, but it has to come with service and quality. Unfortunately I can't afford to give this place a second chance.
Great little place! Friendly staff, BEST clam chowder and crab cakes!
