Camping Du Domaine De Massereau

We visited at the end of August and stayed in one of the premium lodges. The accommodation was relatively compact but functional. We had a couple of things missing but the staff dropped them by the next day. The campsite is very spacious and we found it to be peaceful most of the time. The restaurant pool play area worked well and was a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was generally good. The small shop on the campsite is good for bread pastries and other essentials. The pool was the highlight for my child, with three flumes to keep him occupied. There is also a heated pool undercover, and an adult only pool. We did the wine tour while staying here which was just across the road. It was very interesting and the wine was excellent too. The campsite is conveniently located for the nearby area. The nearby town of Sommieres is just a few minutes away and was really interesting to explore.

I am a long term customer and I have had many great holidays here. The location is good for beach days 35 mins from great wide sandy beaches but go early or V late as parking limited) and the site we have found is very nice. The pool area is very good although I thik they need to expand as the additional new pitches and designatation of the spa pool as adults only most of days means that the old pools are really busy now. Bluntly a new bigger pool is needed. Toilets and showers are very good we found the restaurant served a good quality offering but perhaps might be limited if you are vegan or veggie . Local town very cute and has 3 markets , brocante is easy to find in nearby towns. Staff have always been very good indeed, and on the few occasions I have had issues they have quickly addressed them. Pitches for camping are sand/dust so if it rains there can be mud and the site now has a broadly open without shade and a with shade side. The older part is as good and the new just be aware the trees valued for shade do make for some unusual pitch shapes but again if you have unique needs speak to the staff before booking. our only gripes are that we feel while very good the pool size needs an increase and that occasionally drivers entering the new section drive too fast thinking of kiddies here). I hope to return this year and had taken an option to do so but alas Marvella have as yet not contacted me so I do have my fingers crossed rather. Directer please get in touch ! super helpful guy last year even ordered for me a new wing mirror after mine disappeared on the service stop before. I have high expectations and while no site is perfect I have not found one better for us than this so far. hopefully I will be back if the new owners confirm my booking .

Took an option on a beautiful camping site in October. has also been neatly confirmed by them. We don't have to do anything anymore except wait until mid-November for the email for payment. Didn't receive anything or email at the end of November. It's true, because a new system takes longer. Then emailed again in mid-December. no response now. I emailed again at the end of December and still no response. You think you have booked a holiday at a fantastic campsite with great reviews. But communication stopped with the new owner. The least they can do is tell them that they no longer want to rent out camping pitches. Or if there is something else, email about it. So our experience is already very negative when booking. The campsite itself will probably be fantastic. But unfortunately we won't experience that.

I have been trying to reserve a camping spot for some time now, but it is all difficult and they no longer respond to our emails. So bad! This campsite is not for us. Shame! Service: 1
