Cross Street Market Deli - Somerville

This is a family owned and operated business, and they are really wonderful people! Everyone is polite and friendly. I used to get chicken cutlet subs and steak bomb subs multiple times a week because I really loved the food. I also tried a food plate which was lovely especially the pork and fried fish.

When we need Portuguese food for the house, this is the only place we go. it's really just that simple. there is no better store for authentic Portuguese food North of New Bedford.

The codfish with potatoes is fantastic, only served Fridays and Saturdays. Also the homemade bread Fridays and Saturdays. Don't forget to try the signature homemade portuguese sweet bread.

Love this store and the owners are very friendly and polite!!! Always tell people to try the food at this store. It is deff the best mom and pop store I have ever been too.

Great Subs great service but be careful what time you go cuz you could be waiting anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour for your food to be done and to be rung up at the register
