Chicali Mexican Grill - Somerville

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in this area, everything was great. I had the Tacos and my wife had Enchiladas. Both orders came with rice and fried beans (I loved the beans). Portions were big and delicious. We had a mixture (1 steak, 1 chicken, 1 pig). Salsa was excellent and chips were free. They gave us some chips to go home. We also ordered Guacamole. Also excellent. Baked ice cream for the desert. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. There is no alcohol license, so bring your own.

Beautiful downtown ambience serves authentic Mexican favorites. It's a BYOB. We had enchiladas combo with fried beans and rice and served extra (picy) hot on request, a taco salad and tortilla soup.

We really enjoyed the food! It was very fresh and tasteful. Service was great. Every table gets salsa and chips we loved. I had a vegetarian queen and he had chicken flocks. We had a good time!

Excellent Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients and served large portions. Just go for the Corn Esquites as an appetizer. Enough for 2 people to share the corn was so perfectly cooked and juicy it literally pops sweet and spicy flavor with every bite. Steak Burrito was also excellent. A great addition to Somerville!

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. It's authentic and everything was excellent. We ordered the fresh guacamole and beef nachos for apps and an array of burritos, tacos, enchiladas and seafood diablo for dinner. Nothing disappointed and everyone remarked how much they love their meals. Somerville really needed an authentic Mexican restaurant and Chicali is it. We'll be back for sure.
