Cantina La Mexicana - Somerville

This family-owned restaurant serves the best Mexican food I've ever had!

The food was delicious and flavorful, but the atmosphere felt a bit strange. It was a Sunday afternoon, and I was the only diner there, which is quite unusual since I've heard this place tends to be busy on weekends. On the bright side, the owner who also served as the waiter was very attentive.

This is a fantastic place located in the heart of Union Square, offering authentic Mexican cuisine and beverages. There's plenty of metered parking available, and it's conveniently located near the Union Square stop on the Green Line.

Excellent tacos Al pastor (my favorite excellent margaritas , such personalized and friendly service , and a great low-key vibe. I loved it and will be back again. The owners were like family!

Love the food here. Reasonably priced. Great drinks. The owner always adds a personal touch. The outdoor patio adds a nice touch.
