Booboo's Cafe - Somerville

Great, place for a light meal,or coffee and cake,nice atmosphere, you can dine inside or out..Staff very friendly, service is great and so is the food..

Walked out saying I wouldn’t be back after being served a chicken avocado wrap toasted that the avocado was so old it had gone black and the chicken dried to a chip. So silly trying to palm off tired food that has been made up too long, now they have lost a customer who of course will tell her family and friends.

I ordered an iced choc with oat milk and two iced mochas with almond milk. I stood outside the cafe and watched the barista make an iced choc using milk from a plastic carton that was labelled whole milk. I thought it was for another order but then she called my name. I asked her if it was iced choc with oat milk and she said yes. I thought, okay maybe they make their own oat milk and put it into washed milk cartons. I then watched her make the two mochas and she used almond milk. When she handed them to me i again asked her if the iced choc was oat milk. She rolled her eyes and said ‘yes oat milk and the two mochas are almond’. I can definitely confirm she DID NOT use oat milk. I’ve tried to call the business but the phone rings out.I will definitely not be going back.

Would not recommend working for or giving your business to this cafe. Adrian traumatises his staff members and when they quit, he refuses to pay them. He owes thousands of dollars to ex staff members, myself being one. Food is never labelled or dated so it sits in the cabinets for way over it's due date. Heed my warning stay well away.

Hopefully, Adrian is going to pay all the payment to all the staff who used to work for him at this cafe.
