All 3 dishes have peanut sauce. The male owner/chef was so nice to tell us that they all had peanut sauce. Maybe he just wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting. For those familiar with Indonesian foods, you must know that the peanut sauce for each of those dishes should taste different from one another. And they were! Each sauce tasted just like it should be. They were packing lots of nasbung but too bad it was sold out. I will follow them on IG so next time I can see what specials they have. And oh, btw, we have been to the other place too but Tasya's Kitchen is so much better. Feb 2022 Decided to give this place a try on our way back from Portland, ME. I ordered mie ayam, which was good but a little too salty for my liking. Not unusual since I have a low tolerance to salt. My husband ordered ayam penyet, which was served differently than what he is accustomed to. The chef was very nice and accommodating his request to transform it into what he expected. We also bought a bunch of snacks. You need to make an instant payment on them (no credit card) with PayPal, Venmo and something else as options. Since we came home, I have devoured their pempek. I had been craving them for a long time. The last time I had had them was in 2018. Tonight we shared the nasi rendang. So glad they are only a little over 2 hours from Rhode Island. Definitely will be back.
My first visit to an Indonesian restaurant, and it was brilliant. I ordered two appetizers, the spring rolls and the sate ayam, both were amazing, or, as I found out, sangat enak, delicious. I went to the restaurant to find out more about the Indonesian community in the Somersworth area, and Tasya herself took time to answer my questions, for which I am grateful. I enthusiastically recommend Tasya's Kitchen. Terima kasih.
I drove all the way from Boston just to come here and it was worth it! Amazing to find real Indonesia restaurant here. I love the food, especially the interesting snacks on the counter area for sale.
What a GEM!! This is quite possibly my favorite restaraunt in NH. The food was spectacular. The service was super friendly and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable. If you want to give Indonesian cuisine a try, this place is a must. We will be back for sure!
Whether it?s dining in or taking out, Tasya?s Kitchen never fails me! Today I ordered some of my fav dishes, the Nasi Bungkus and Sate Ayam. Literally my favorite comfort food since I?m so far away from my Mom in Indonesia. Tasya?s Kitchen is the perfect Aunthentic Indonesian Spot! Located in Somersworth, NH. Everyone there is so kind and friendly, always greeted with smiles. And the service is the absolute best! Quick and super easy to order. Definitely recommend this place if y?all are in town! Best of the Best. :
