Sheetz - Somerset

Sheetz is a refreshing change from the typical, lackluster gas stations that don't offer any food. Give their sandwiches or pizzas a chance – you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is relatively new and features a drive-thru, along with a selection of alcoholic beverages. It's conveniently located not far from the Turnpike and nearby hotels.

The restaurant is consistently unclean, and the last meal I had left me with indigestion. The coffee station is often understocked and untidy. The customer service leaves much to be desired, and the kitchen area behind the counter is visibly dirty, which is quite off-putting. It seems that the management and supervisors struggle to effectively address customer relations issues. I'm disappointed every time I visit, but I feel obligated to continue shopping there. I really hope things improve.

Congratulations, Sheetz. You managed to create the worst sandwich I've had all year in 2022.

Sheetz has always had great food, but I wonder if it’s because they’ve opened too many locations—it's almost like the saying goes, there’s one on every corner! Seriously, though, I remember when the first two Sheetz locations opened back in the day. Those hamburgers were the best, especially with chili on top. Oh my goodness, it was so good that I would buy the chili in those large clear deli containers, you know, the kind you get for potato salad? They were about $5 at the time. However, I think because there are so many Sheetz stores now, the food isn’t as good as it used to be. It seems like every location has a cook who thinks they're like Emeril, the chef known for his "BAM!"
