Fatman's Fire Pit Bbq - Somerset

I ordered the daily special, which was chicken served on Texas toast. The portions were generous, and the chicken was moist and exceptionally flavorful. The coleslaw was also fantastic, and both the sauce and service were impressive. Plus, the price was very reasonable!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I've been here twice in just four days, which speaks volumes. The owner, Fatman, truly loves what he does, and it shows. The barbecue is outstanding! I recently visited another restaurant in Georgia, Smokin' Pig, which deserves a spot in the top 10, but Good Fatman is by far number one—there's just no comparison. The service is excellent, and it's the best barbecue I've ever had. Kudos to Fatman and his amazing staff for their hard work!

Best BBQ in town in my opinion!! Eating is great, servings are huge and staff and atmosphere is so welcoming! Definitely worth all 5 stars.

I absolutely love eating here—it's by far the best restaurant in the city! It never gets old. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is excellent. My favorite dish is the Prime Rib Steak Sandwich—it's delicious! I also enjoy the okra, mac and cheese, and a lovely dessert.

My husband and I really enjoyed our food, and I'd definitely go back. What I liked the most is that you can get the BBQ on the side. That's perfect for me because I'm someone who doesn't like a lot of sauce. We got the chicken, and it was really tender. I mixed the two sauces they offered and liked it a lot. The coleslaw was good...just a touch too sweet for my tastes...but I still liked it. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was great with good portion sizes.
