We enjoyed the bacon-wrapped scallops as an appetizer - a generous portion. The highlight of the dinner was the short ribs, but all of our entrees were delicious. The fried chicken and stuffed chicken were excellent. We will definitely be dining here every time we visit Solvang. And to top it off, we had a fantastic chocolate dessert with ice cream and toffee crumbles!
We felt rushed during our visit to the restaurant. While I understand that they were busy, as locals, it makes me hesitant to return anytime soon. The staff cleared dishes from those who had finished eating, but not everyone was done, which can make those still eating feel pressured to hurry. Additionally, the waitress asked if we wanted to see the dessert menus before everyone had finished their meals. I suggested that she return after everyone was done eating to ask us about dessert. The food was fantastic, but the noise level inside the restaurant when it's packed is high, making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. The server and staff were friendly, but it seemed like they may not have been properly trained on balancing efficiency with pushiness.
The lamb chops the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon was very tasty!

The dishes were cleared from those who had finished eating, but not everyone was done eating, which I believe makes the person still eating feel like they need to hurry up. And before everyone was done eating, the waitress asked if we wanted to look at the dessert menus. At that point I said, Perhaps AFTER everyone is done eating you could come back and ask us that Food is amazing. It's very noisy when it's packed and you're inside we had to shout to talk to each other, which just makes the noise level worse, but what do you do? And the server and staff couldn't have been nicer, I just don't think they've been trained that there is a fine line between encouraging turn over and being pushy.
