The slow cooking method of the steak meant that all were the same(ie I would have preferred a medium to well ) but it was still enjoyable.Sweets were very good and so was the wine list. All in all avery good meal in a lovely restaurant.
My husband and I visited Angus and Co on a Monday night. We chose to order onion rings and fried chicken wings to share as a entree. The rings were crisp and salty the chicken was nicely fried if a little bland but it was complimented well with the tomato salsa. I had a new york strip ordered well done and it did not disappoint. I chose the mashed potato as my side and it was smooth and creamy. My husband ordered the slow cooked beef ribs and they were delicious. The meat fell from the bone and was unctious and flavorful. The side order of mac and cheese was not very cheesy and lacked flavour. I had the apple pie with ice cream for dessert. The pastry was soggy but the flavour was good. The winelist was comprehensive. Overall this was the nicest meal I have had in Port Pirie.
I have not had food this delicious in a long time. It was cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional. Cannot recommend restaurant enough. You won't be disappointed.
Please see my review of this motel for access tips. The food was delicious. My father and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Booked in for tea as we were staying at the hotel. We booked a table for 16 at 6pm on schnitzel night. We were all seated at 6.15pm 1 round of drinks was taken. We then waited 45 mins for our orders to be taken. 2 tables of 2 came in after us, ordered and were fed and finished before our garlic breads even came out! Another drinks order was taken then meals eventually arrived. Some were cold. We were not offered dessert then at 9pm we were asked to finish up. I can't imagine how staff would cope had they been any busier.
