Real Bistro - Solana Beach

We dine at Real regularly and are always pleased with our experience. The seasonal menu is updated frequently, offering unique and delicious options. The service is outstanding, and the best part is that reservations aren't necessary. This time, I had the vegan farro risotto, which was fantastic! My dining companion enjoyed the Bolognese, filet, and fennel sausage, and we were both very satisfied. In my opinion, the bar is a standout feature; they serve an excellent Pimm's cup, and the friendly owners are always around to chat and make us feel welcome. If you're looking for a place where everyone knows your name, Real is the spot for you.

A super cute neighborhood bistro with delicious food and a lovely, cozy atmosphere. It's perfectly romantic, especially if you don't mind that your neighbors are inches away from you, but also a well-suited choice for dinner with a close friend. Great bistro food and exceptional, attentive service. Place was packed, but we didn't have to wait long for drinks, food or the bill. Our server Jessica did a great job checking in on us to make sure we were happy with the food and if we needed more drinks or anything like that.

Wow super impressed by Real. My girlfriend and I pass this place a bunch and always talk about coming in for lunch, so I was so happy we finally visited last weekend! Definitely a great value! My lobster BLT sandwich was absolutely amazing. I tried my girlfriends iron steak salad soooo good; only $11 for her salad and $12 for my lobster BLT! That's a better value than Panera Bread nearby! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We also had the pleasure of the owner introducing himself to us halfway through the meal from the way it seemed, he does this often which is nice. Would love to come back to try their brunch!

I had come across an ad for this place a while ago and finally got around to going. It was great. My wife and I had a great meal and will return for sure.

What a delightful surprise! The octopus was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty, and the bratwurst appetizer was delicious as well! I enjoyed the goat cheese and strawberry salad, which is hands down the best salad I've ever tasted. I loved the atmosphere—warm and welcoming, just right for the occasion, and the staff were excellent. I know this might sound a bit odd, but the bathroom was impressively clean, even though the place was busy. I can't wait to dine here again soon!
