California Pizza Kitchen At Solana Beach

HORRIBLE Service. I went to 9/16 at 7:00 with my wife and 3 years old. It was 20 minutes and no one came by to take the order at the table. No one. There were employees hanging around, talking to each other, but NONE bothered. We just went out from there, no point to ask the management to send someone to take order when the employees are so inhospitable and rude.

We celebrated our GD's B-Day yesterday because this was our favorite pizza place earlier, but the food lasted forever and left much to wish, the service was OK, so... we won't go back soon.

Dog-friendly outdoor terrace. After a morning at the Dell Mar dog beach we were looking for an outdoor dog friendly casual lunch place. Result when we saw CPK's light yellow parasols. Natalia immediately offered water for the puppy! Ordered bbq chicken pizza to share with drinks! Great friendly service. Great food as usual!

My oldest daughter, one of her teammates, her parents, and I went to eat here between football matches of a tournament where my daughter and her friend compete. The girls had individual pizzas they enjoyed while the other adults had salads and chicken dishes. I had a Tequila chicken pasta that was really delicious. The service was amazing and made this little jaunt a good one. I will definitely go back here when I'm next in Solana Beach.

Nice location and atmosphere by the beach. However, left a bit disappointed. The BBQ chicken pizza was superb as expected. The mushroom pepperoni was good, though I should have ordered it without the sausage, but that's more on my taste. What was disappointing was the stale chips that came with the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Apparently, they ran out of chips and bought them at a store. Dip was pleasant though as normal, just wish we didn't have stale chips to go along with them, especially considering the price we paid for them. We didn't even get bread at our table that was being offered at other tables.
