We were 6 pairs booked on Friday at Skovby kro on weekend stay, little excited and expectant There was full service from start to finish, the food was well prepared, was served with a smile Staff met us at eye height time to pingpong, although there was full-booked, there was time for the extra service

Danish steak sounds like everyday food; but there may be great difference and Skovby Kros edition is in the good end: Made of good meat, fried so it was really juicy, and with good yarniture. I don’t know what they do by the fried onions; but they taste heavenly. However, the potatoes have the potential for improvement. Their dankort access was down; but it cleared the servant with a smile and mobilepay. Very good experience for the price.

Were helped by a friendly young lady. The owner said that if we sat outside, there would be no service (even though we were the only customers ... but the young lady saw the stupidity of this rule and served us none the less. Ordered steak and chicken breasts for the kids sent the chicken back due to half of it still raw. Got them back and still not all cooked well. Just cut off those pieces since the portions were luckily big and didn’t mention anything about it.

A new experience of cooking on hot stones was had here, and I loved every minute of our evening here in this restaurant. The menu choices were varied, and all the food we had here was delicious and served up by very welcoming hosts. A good selection of drinks too, and our wine of choice went down an absolute treat. If you are looking for somewhere traditional, with great hospitality, then Skoby Kro is highly recommended.
