Tends to be a bit busy, but the wait is generally worth it. I personally prefer their cold cut sandwiches to their hot sandwiches, and would probably recommend against the Harvard District Salad or the Philly Cheesesteak. My favorite sandwich was the Friday special with the Italian meats; the bread is always well-toasted on the outside and soft on the inside.

Everything about this place is fantastic except the hours. They regularly change hours on Google that do not match when they are actually serving.This morning, hours on Google listened an 8am opening time. We drove up at 8:50 am to a dark store, open doors, people working in the back, and no one came up front to check. They did have a Closed sign in the window, but all the doors where open and unlocked.This is like the one not corporate coffee shop in Hemet. It would be great if they kept consistent hours and stuck to the posted hours online.Also, personal request, please open earlier on weekends. Like 8am was perfect and I was so bummed to not be able to get coffee and breakfast.

This has to be the best Deli in town! The coffee is on point and reasonably priced, the sandwiches are solid! Will return.

Downtown Deli has it all. A quiet comfortable atmosphere and very good food. They make their own bread, which I love. And any sandwich you could want. With salads and soups and specials every day. Parking: One way street with parking in front or a larger parking area just down the street. With interesting shops along the way and an excellent bakery. Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome
