They have sides I've never seen before and love as well as awesome fries. My only complaint is cost. I paid17$ for a burger with bacon, Mac and cheese bites and a milkshake. I thought she had made a mistake when she said the price butapon inspecting the recipt, it was accurate. Just plain expensive. But God was it good.
Decided to try Wayback Burgers again for dinner one night and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of our order, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and even the friendliness of the staff. I ordered our food through their mobile app about a halfhour before closing time, and got there to pick the food up about 15 minutes later. When we arrived, we were greeted by 2friendly employees, and immediately handed our bag of food, which was clearly labeled and ready to eat.
The food was served hot and tasted fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be returning!
I was disappointed that my burger didn't come with any bacon or grilled onions, and they also forgot my honey mustard. The burger was fine otherwise, but I feel a bit cheated out of 80 cents by Jake’s, which is frustrating.
I would have liked to give a positive review, but unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to eat here. I arrived at 8:25 PM to place a takeout order for my wife and myself, only to be told they were closed, despite the door being unlocked and their posted hours indicating they close at 9 PM. While I don’t want to blame Wayback too much, I was disappointed by the two young workers there. I could understand if I had shown up at 8:55 PM, as it takes time to clean up and leave on schedule, but this felt unreasonable. This is exactly why many businesses hesitate to hire young staff; situations like this can tarnish their reputation. It's unfortunate that the younger boy and girl left to represent this chain handled the situation poorly, as it ultimately resulted in a lost customer.
