As many times as I have driven by this Johnny's location and never stopped...shame on me! Johnny's is a solid pizza franchise that can be found all over the southeast with several located right here in the metro Atlanta area and I have been a fan from visiting the Kennesaw location over the years! This particular spot is located on East West Connector and shares a small shopping center with a few others spots. Instead of stopping in, we grabbed delivery which is completed through GrubHub. The process was pretty simple on Johnny's website, so you never have to go through the actual GH site...which is really nice! In addition to the process being simple, the delivery time was spot on as we were quoted 45 minutes to 1 hour and it took 50 minutes from order to doorstep. So, we were happy with that! At the other locations I have always stopped in for a slice or two, however here we got a full pie and some garlic knots. For the pie, we got a large Italian Sausage. Normally I am not a fan of Italian sausage as it is always heavy on the fennel and just too overpowering. However, Johnny's has a crumbled variety of the sausage that mellows the forward flavor out and allows you to enjoy the rest of the pie as well. So, while I won't be ordering up Italian sausage pizzas on my own, I definitely don't mind having a slice or two! The garlic knots...priced at $5.99 I was legit expecting 6 8 knots, but nope...legit 20 25 knots in one order! We not only ate them with our pizza, but had some left over to have with some spaghetti the next night! Overall, I am a fan of Johnny's and pumped that they deliver to our spot! The service was solid, the pie was tasty and the garlic knots overfloweth. Johnny's isn't my #1 go to in the area, but it is climbing the ranks for sure!
The bar was set extremely high when I first visited Johnny's. I'm a born and raised Jersey girl and we take our pizza seriously in NJ! Johnny's has become my go-to pizza joint! The customer service, the atmosphere, and of course the PIZZA meets this Jersey Girl's high expectation! Johnny's is a slice of Jersey right here in Smyrna!
Johnnys always hits for me when it comes to their salad but I had to remove a star this time because the gentleman that took my order was a tad bit rude and short. Albeit he was frustrated due to the heavy traffic and short of help, he rushed me through my order and STILL DIDNT GET IT RIGHT! Come one people tone of he first key to getting a good review is having good listening skills My order was simple and there was no reason for error Aside from these issues everything was good
I have been a customer of this pizza establishment for years. Good pizza!! dinning today took a bad turn. We sat there for sometime our waitress came and got our order wasn't happy they don't carry any beverage that I like. That's a problem. We ordered, time went by and we sat. She came back to the table again brought a menu again ask for our order. Now we have been there for sometime no food no drink. She came back the table a ask what our order was. I then ask to make it to go. So she then got upset that we asked for it to go. Then she says she hasn't input the order yet and we have ordered 3 times, same things all three times. We said to just forget it since she constantly was bickering with us when we we're getting upset that we had to order 3 separate times and she still hadn't input our order to the chef. We walked out and I will not go back. Not to say we made a scene arguing who was the worst person. BAD SERVICE. She said she has been a waitress for 7 years, when it appears she has only been one for 7 minutes. When asked to see the manager she started yelling at us. Absolutely the worst customer service ever!!!
