J R Crickets - Smyrna

It used to be my visit. I had the worst service on Friday night. I ordered my parties food and drinks together. My party got food pretty fast there, but no spices or napkins on the table. A neighboring table noticed and had to give us contingencies there. My food came out 40 minutes later. I just ordered catfishes and sweet potatoes?. We ordered Strawberry Patron Margarita, who was brilliant. I asked the waitress to bring me another one she disappeared, came back empty twenty minutes later and asked what we needed. We decided we wanted Peachpatron Margarita. We have been here several times, so we know how it should look and taste. The waiter brought us a regular margarita. I told him we wanted peach lemon, he took it away. He came back 10 minutes later, with the same pitcher trying to convince us that it was peach. I tasted it, it wasn't peach, and it wasn't cartridge. He said you didn't want it, I said he took the pitcher and left. He never asked if we wanted another drink, we sat in the sports bar that was ignored soberly. I asked the bill and told the waitress that it was terrible service. She shook her head and left. Food wasn't good, I gave my fish away. Wings were okay.

Buffalo Tenders and Fries? Combo shouldn't contain pommes, but it was?t. I have made and chosen the odd online ordering system (no waiter service apparently available) from the QR code on the table? Celery Ranch? as the side option to think like any other wing place I've ever had was the norm. I also ordered an appetizer. My food came without French fries, and I asked the server to deliver food when they come. She told me it was celery OR French Pommes, and because I decided that this was what happened to me. Then she said I could have an additional order of Fritten for you. How does a combo menu item that does NOT come with it automatically? Why wasn't I just charged an extra $1 on my account for celery? I was not in the mood at this point to give them more money, so I refused and went without. In addition, the offers were boiled over, the DJ played with full volume, so you had to scream to say something, and even a glass of water was not free. I'm not back.

BAD EXPERIENCE: I've been with J R Crickets for years, but I don't want to go back. They have made changes that do not work for their customers or their servers. They scan the QR code on the table and order and pay. You calculate a 10% service fee that goes to the restaurant, then the expectation that you top on the top of the fee. So you calculate your own order and you type before you service (which was terrible). I ordered Wings. After about 15 minutes, a server came by without food and asked if I was fine. I asked for a glass of water. She said they don't give water anymore, but I could buy something. I asked for the owner/manager (Trent), but he wasn't there. I refused to be forced to buy water, and I refused to eat wings without water as they already had my money, 10%, plus the prepaid tip; I took my food to go. I'd advise you to stay away from this place unless you're okay with your new set-up.

We order 20 wings ,fries , beer pitcher Wayer bottle , Philly cheesesteak paid $76.26 feel its over price , wings are were dry and soggy We ask our server Jaquia M. For our check ,she came back with only a card reader and a total its was more than we expected so I asked her if tip was already included she said no!! There is a sigh at the very back of the restaurant by the booths right where we were seating that said 10 service charge is included in every check !!be aware !! I ask her to bring a paper itemized receipt and she did which showed the tip was already included . when i ask her about it she said it the restaurant keeps it to keep pricing down and menu pricing down Which don?t make sense at all !! I was a server for over 10 years and know what a service charge is !! Just wanted to trust her when she said it was not included and added a 18 tip I would not be going back and will not recommend to any family or friends !

I have a good time when I visit this restaurant. I love that they have a block party during the summer every other Wednesday with the amazing DJ Duval on the 1's and 2's! He's amazing! This is just a great atmosphere to unwind and relax!
