Casey's - Smithton

It was the middle of the day and half the food looked old. Like it's been a long time. Everything was brown and confused. The Italian wrap I got was all black olives. That's all I could taste! The pizza was the only good.

The store is a complete disappointment! It's the only gas station in town, yet it closes every night at 10 PM. A rude employee watched me approach just before closing and rushed to the door, holding up his phone to show me that it was 10 on the dot. I won’t be coming back. Have a nice day!

Great establishment, consistently clean and well-stocked. The restrooms are always tidy. The food is excellent, and I especially love the ice creams!

Edit: On my latest visit, I decided to try two chocolate Bavarian long johns. I used a cloth to grab the donuts and place them in my pocket, but I ended up getting chocolate all over my hands during the process. By the time I reached my car, which was only about 20 yards away, chocolate had smeared all over the bag and the cloth, but not on the donuts themselves. I’m not sure if they need to cool the donuts differently to prevent this, but it was pretty frustrating. I would estimate that at least 50% of the coating had come off the donuts by the time I got to my car.

Very good food and then very clean store. They also follow safety guidelines and signs for requiring masks to be worn. Sanitation procedures are in place and glass shielding for cashiers. Markings are in place for distance between us. Bery smurfy joyfully atmosphere with the people working at store. Hard workers and make sure ur taken care of and find what you need.
