Our Best Restaurant - Smithfield

Was told by a friend. Me and two others went. Maybe the best country cooked food I ever had. Large parts. Cornbread, roasted green tomatoes, meat flakes and home cakes and cbblers. Absolutely delicious!!!

Wow! I never had a bad meal or experience there and went there for years, but tonight my cable was cold, the waitress was questionable, mine to go order, what earlier a bowl of pinto bean soup with corn bread is now not even a half filled tiny to go container and looked at a page article. I wanted to order Blackberry Cobbler and the waitress never offered us a desert and gave us our bill. I asked the Cobbler to be added, and she said they were all out and never offered anything at his place. The girl who stood at what the register was naked before? You pay at the table?. Very disappointed! Wasn't it as busy as I was? ve saw it, especially for a Sunday. This fly was in my pinto beans.

Quirky scenic country style home cooking. I was so excited to see fried maize bread on the menu, but really disappointed when they came out, like oversized potato chips. In my opinion, I needed a little more 'bread'. They were still tasty. Pour the special beef onions with REAL potatoes. It was nice. Hubs had fried steak a baked potato. Our group had food that was on the lukewarm side, and service was a smidgen less than spectacular (adequat) Our friends had the peach cbbler with ice that they declared as amazing. They also highly recommend the potato bombs. If you miss land cooking or if you have never enjoyed it, check it.

Oh, my God! After all, it did there, took me more than 10 years. The best fried green tomatoes I've had for a long time! Our waitress analise was wonderful. She gave us the crazy bunch back. Everyone was well fed with good food and served with kindness. Thank you for a wonderful KY-cat in the middle of nowhere. If you read this review and not... GO! You won't be disappointed!

Family run for over 30 years, and they do it right. Out in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the drive. Fried chicken is a specialty. Wife said it was great. I had the country fried steak, it was great too. Several things on the menu that I want to try, so I will be back.
