The Diner - Smithfield

On my first visit to this restaurant, I discovered it to be a delightful and comfortable spot, with a friendly mom-and-pop atmosphere. Even though I arrived after breakfast time, the friendly service and tasty coffee made me excited to come back and try their morning menu. The bacon cheeseburger I chose was delicious, with crispy bacon and hot fries, giving me a satisfying meal at a fair price. Situated in downtown Smithfield, opposite the Ava Gardner Museum, it provides a charming environment to enjoy a meal and show support for local businesses.

Great stop on our trip. Aimee the hostess is a jewel. We had breakfast together with great conversation and advice... The decor is creepy loves it... Thanks Aimee!

Our favorite breakfast place! Best potatoes and geese everywhere. We use Larry as a standard for breakfast food when we travel, and of course not where is as good as Larry's!

If you go to breakfast, make sure you get the sink. It's like a pen!

I always judge a breakfast place by their coffee first. The Diner had awesome coffee! The food was also really good and quick.
