Haweli - Smethwick

The service and food were both excellent at this restaurant. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was between £20-30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the curry dish.

I ordered the chili garlic lamb, but received some chicken curry that was swimming in oil with chewy chicken and no flavor. The rice was also grey. Very unpleasant, please fix this issue.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the waitstaff is very friendly. The aubergine curry is especially tasty. The prices are reasonable overall, but the poppadoms and sauces are a bit overpriced. They charge 0.90 pounds per poppadom and 2.40 pounds for the chutney/sauces, which seems a bit excessive to me. Despite that, we really enjoy this restaurant and it was a pleasant surprise to find it! Service: Dine in.

First visit last night food was absolutely amazing. Great service and decor of restaurant was lovely. Portions are generous hence we had what we didn’t eat baggged up. The staff put complimentary beers in our take away bag. Really cannot recommend the restaurant enough and we will def be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered a chicken karahi with potato and the chef very kindly agreed to make aloo paratha. I was so impressed with the food, lovely flavour and great service. Also mango lassi was spot on. Delicious and beautiful interior, highly recommended. Will be back again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
