Harp Tavern - Sligo

Beautiful bar, the delicious food served. friendly staff are always welcoming.

If they want good food and fast service at an affordable price, then this is the place to eat, personal very friendly and helpful, anne is a great person and good laugh also .... don’t dare go anywhere else but the harp tavern!!!

Second night of a trip with family to Sligo and got a craving for a steak. Trip Advisor threw the Harp up as potential solution to the craving so gave it a shot. Staff could not have been more helpful, my steak cooked exactly as I like it, my daughter wanted pasta and whilst not on menu, they rustled up a portion of pasta with a tomato sauce that was enthusiastically devoured. Desserts looked lovely but only the daughter ventured with the Brownie and ice cream presentation was brilliant (and judging by clear plate tasted as good as it looked On top of everything, bill was extremely reasonable and considerably less than some alternatives that we had considered via Trip Advisor. In summary, cannot fault and strongly recommend.

Very busy, particularly on Sunday's. You need to book in advance.

1st time here on the recommendation of Trip Advisor and they didn’t let us down. Lovely pub/restaurant. As said in another review the staff are lovely and the food was great. I’ve specific dietary requirements they were only too happy to accommodate.
