Not Just Donuts - Slidell

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place—the people, the service, and the delicious donuts. I mean, someone could say it, but just look at the line almost reaching the door! We're all eagerly waiting for these amazing donuts. And I have to mention, the woman behind the counter is truly the most beautiful person I've ever seen.

This was my first and now last time ordering from this store. Honestly, I only decided to try it because I was stuck at home and couldn't go anywhere else. I can assure you, it has nothing to do with any "stellar reputation"! Normally, I would order from Jelly Donuts Kolaches of Slidell (the absolute best!) or Tasty Cream Donuts. I found it curious that the only five-star review came from a local leader who mentioned seeing the donuts being taken out, almost as if they were trying to validate something. Perhaps the shop knew they were coming? That's just a theory, but it certainly raised my eyebrows!

The donuts are decent when they're available. However, I've visited the place multiple times at 9 a.m. and often the only choice was regular glazed donuts, with the other varieties not yet prepared. It’s quite disappointing.

These cajun eggrolls were Soooo perfectly cooked and the sauce was a hit too! Loved the drivethrough lady's attitude was excellent and she was very professional and effecient. Definitely will come back for more!!!

Paid $10.61 for 8 donuts and it was basically wonder bread; NO Glaze on the donuts whatsoever. I bit into the donut and not a flake of glaze fell. This was tragic. And the audacity of them to put 8 donuts in a bag. I will NEVER buy anything from these people.
