Mr Joe Chinese - Slidell

Mr. Joe always offers hot fresh food free from MSG. They cook to order and are quick and efficient! Prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty good! The food is always good here, in my opinion, really hit tonight just before the parade! It is now only due to the Kovid security protocols, but they have made some clean accommodations to help keep everyone safe while staying in business. There is a walkable window-style setup complete with drawable drawers for your food and money retrieval. You even have a very creative way to push your card into the chip reader for card payments!

My husband and I love to take here when we are tired and don't feel like cooking or going out. Every time I call an order, the food is ready within 15 minutes and is hot, so everything is fresh. This place is near our house, so we get it about once every two weeks, and we never had a problem with anything. The price is reasonable, the food is delicious, and they are friendly. Definitely recommend if you need a quick comfort food!

The Chinese food here is fantastic! It's a perfect spot for takeout since the restaurant is quite small. They have an extensive menu, but I often order the hot and sour soup and the sweet and sour chicken. The wait is typically around 10 to 15 minutes. We come here all the time!

The best General Tso's tofu I've ever had! I live in New Orleans, and whenever I'm in Slidell, I make it a point to visit this place. The service is excellent, and it's run by a lovely family.

Our food was very good. You did our order right and it was extensive.
