Louisiana Hot Wingz - Slidell

I visited for the first time and ordered onion rings and medium hot wings. Both were absolutely fantastic! The onion rings were perfectly fried in a light batter and came in a generous portion—so delicious! The wings were fresh and incredibly tasty. Kudos to the chef and the owner!

I've noticed some reviews that mention the wings aren’t jumbo-sized. If you're after the maximum amount of meat, you might consider getting some fried chicken and dipping it in hot sauce—I won't judge! However, if you're looking for outstanding wings, the smaller ones actually provide a better balance of sauce, skin, and meat, offering a rich flavor experience. The menu features a concise yet diverse array of sauces, but I haven’t been able to pull myself away from the main hot sauce to explore them yet. Alongside the sauces, there's a carefully curated selection of simple but thoughtfully prepared side dishes. A friend of mine ordered the chicken wrap with added jerk seasoning, and I can’t wait to try the BBQ Ranch Fries on my next visit. If I could make one suggestion, it would be for them to create their own blue cheese dressing because these wings deserve the best accompaniment possible.

I ordered 5 of their hottest wings and 5 sweet heat barbecue wings, and I can't recommend them enough! The wings were perfectly crispy and juicy. I will definitely return when I'm in Slidell!

I had the pleasure of enjoying their wings just a few hours ago. I ordered the honey BBQ and garlic parmesan flavors and requested the wings to be fried. Let me tell you, they were absolutely fantastic! They were perfectly cooked and incredibly crispy—I'm not a fan of undercooked, slimy chicken wings. The sauce was outstanding. Honestly, they rival and even taste better than some BBQ places I used to go to in Ohio. I waited all day to indulge, and I’m so glad Louisiana Hot Wingz surpassed my expectations! I’ll definitely be back to try some other flavors.
