Longhorn Steakhouse - Slidell

We love Longhorn and its always great at this location. We drive about an hour to eat here. Love the firecracker chicken appetizer and our steaks are always really good. We have been to a few other locations and this one is best by far.

The porterhouse steak that i got was the best I have ever had in a long time. It melted in my mouth and needed no steak sauce.

My daughter got sick in the middle of our meal. We had to get the food to go and never checked it. Got home, an hour away, and realized it was wrong so we called. Joe, the manager said nothing he could do as the waitress took our order wrong anyway. Jeez, is this the new customer service. Shame on you JOE.

The best honey buttered brussel sprouts on the coast!

This was definitely one of the most mediocre experiences at longhorn I've had. Albiet I haven't been in a while since the one on Covington shut down. I didn't recieve any utensils which was strange… Even the bread that usually had a knife in it did not. I had to ask after the main course came out.
