The Picnic - Sleaford

This restaurant is always a great spot for a break, offering plenty of space to stretch your legs. It's dog-friendly and a safe environment for children, making it perfect for a quick bite to eat. While it can get quite busy, the turnover is swift, and you can usually find parking even if you're towing a caravan. It's probably the safest option for entering and exiting Norfolk. However, the public restrooms can get a bit unpleasant during the busy summer months and on bank holidays.

I had a lovely experience at this little gem of a restaurant. The kind lady there prepared a deliciously healthy BLT for me, along with a wonderfully brewed cup of tea that I really needed. As a truck driver, I appreciate places that offer satisfying meals that are far better than the usual unhealthy fast food. I highly recommend stopping by this place for a wholesome meal!

The coffee was excellent, but unfortunately, there were no restrooms available as they were out of order.
