Ridge Tap House - Slave Lake

It's great to see a new restaurant in town with a fresh menu and an impressive selection of drinks. The appetizers are unique and delicious. The service is getting better and it's recommended to ask the owner for suggestions.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and food at this restaurant. The prime rib was delicious, and the walleye fish and chips were some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place.

We chose to dine at this restaurant since we were staying at the hotel and didn't feel like going out. My husband ordered the chicken panini sandwich and I ordered the wings (which we shared). The panini sandwich was tasty, but could have used more chicken. We noticed that when we bit into a piece of the sandwich that had minimal chicken, the taste of the rosemary bread wasn't as good on its own. The wings, however, were delicious - we opted for the Korean BBQ flavor.

I'm not a big fun of Burgers at all, but this mozza mushrooms was very very good. Lots of cheese, nice bun.

We came for lunch and chose the buffet after looking through the menu. It was comprised of very good, small batch items. Three green salads four other salads and six hot items plus roast pork on a carvery. All items are small batch hand made quality items. Not cheap food either. Tilapia steak and chili and the roast pork. Foods all about 15$ a plate. Buffet 16$ wife comments it 's all stuff if cook at home.
