My husband fared better with soup and salad in that his order was correct. However neither of us found the food very impressive. It was fairly bland, simple fare. Moreover, service was quite slow and a can of seltzer (literally, just a can put on the table) cost $3.50! Honestly, it’s a great premise but the food and service just aren’t worth it.
Have been several times and the food is always fresh and tastes so good. Pizza is wonderful and as is all of the food offered.
Had lunch lg Pepperoni was so soggy had to send it back, thin crust would not hold up. second one better but crust burnt it seems the oven temp was off or dough too thin. I like a thin crust, but it has to be crunchy. staff seemed indifferent and not caring more interested in visiting with each other. manager or owner was writing checks at the counter saw the redo pizza and never checked in with us. server was not on top of things
While at the farmers' market right next to it, I went in and got a large chocolate chunk walnut cookie from their selection of baked goods at the order counter. It was really delicious. The place is small tiny bar, some tables and chairs but it has a nice ambiance and there's a great little patio for outdoor eating. They use local fresh ingredients in all their cooking and baking. They also give tours of their gristmill and have a gift shop.
We had a delicious lunch here. Two of us split a wood fired pepperoni pizza and a salad. Nice little shop to buy some bread or treats on the way out.
