Riverside Cafe - Skibbereen

The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food you receive.

This is a great spot for a lunch break or a longer meal. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, especially during this time of year. The food is delicious and portions are generous.

I went for lunch and ordered the BLT on sourdough bread. I found the bread to be very thick and the BLT to be very thin. The soup that came with it was okay, but overall I wouldn't give it more than two or three stars.

I cannot understand any negative reviews. I ate at this restaurant twice during our 3-day trip to Skibbereen and the food was amazing. It was the best meal we had out of all the places we went to. The staff were also very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant because the food is truly exceptional.

The Thai fish cakes and mixed salads were fantastic. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors was excellent. The staff member who prepared this dish deserves a Michelin star of their own.
