Skanderborghus

Went with 4 friends and where to start: Powdered eggs, cheapest over-salted bacon, cold boiled eggs, cheap juice from concentrate, no-flavour cheese. Hotel gets 1 star for a decent cup of black coffee. Walk 15 minutes to Netto supermarket, pay less and get significantly better food! Shame on you, Skanderborghus!!!

Stunning meal, I ordered what I mis-read as a filet steak and was very pleasantly surprised by my mistake! One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! Very pleasant restaurant with lovely friendly staff. Had this meal two nights in a row!

The restaurant at the hotel has a nice menu with a good variety of meat and fish. The chef knows how to handle both of them and makes sure that they arrive on your plate perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is not really cozy due to missing dividing walls or other ornaments.

I was taken here by a business associate. It was really quiet at the time but the Chef prepared a lovely lunch for us. One of the best I've had in a long time.

There was a big buffet available but we went for a la cart. It was a pleasant lunch with traditional danish breads, cheese and meats. Was located near the water, very nice view.
