Poppies - SKAGWAY

Delicious find just outside of tourist hell. Quiet, great atmosphere, food was wonderful.

Most of the food at this resturaunt is grown right on sight at the organic garden that surrounds it. Anything that is not directly from their garden is also local from Skagway. The food is so fresh and full of flavor. The setting is magical!!!! Before or after you eat you can stroll through the beautiful Jewel Gardens and do some glass blowing. It is a must visit if you are in Skagway.

Holy sweet good God in heaven. I've been to some five star restaurants in my time, but I've never been to such a small restaurant with such high quality gourmet food. The presentation: superb. The flavors: amazing. The quality: fresh. They grow everything in the garden backyard, and boy can you taste. I had the salmon grilled cheese and the flourless chocolate cake. My taste buds couldn't thank me more.

Beautiful setting overlooking the gardens, service was great. I had the rhubarb mimosa and the duck salad, my husband had the salmon BLT and they were all delicious. A very lovely meal and destination.

Our family's favorite lunch destination! The food is fresh and how much of it is home-grown! Not to mention you get to eat in a beautiful Conservatory overlooking a stunning organic show Garden! I had the duck salad and my daughter had the fancy (fromage grille) grilled cheese sandwich! Absolutely delightful!
