Alaska House - SKAGWAY

The kale salad, crab legs, and sweet potato side were all excellent. I asked the waitress to compare the halibut to the elk dish, and she confidently recommended the elk. However, I found it challenging to appreciate it when some bites were less than appetizing. The waitress mentioned that she hadn't actually tried the elk herself but loved it based on what others have said. She also explained that she isn't much of a meat eater, which I found to be quite unacceptable.

Our group of seven had breakfast together and the online reservation process was quick and easy. We were welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the service was fantastic. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Overall, our experience as visitors to Skagway was very enjoyable.
