Coffee Temple Varkala - Sivagiri

I was 4 days in varkala and went 3 times in the sarg tempel. his fantastic place to go at any time of day. the people working there are great and enjoy the talks with the sunshades. I had a nice time. can't go wrong by going there.

The coffee was brilliant. lesley (the host) is a wonderful person who speaks with an excellent music taste. has to go to breakfast in varkala!

Food quality is not great. they are apparently specialized in Mexican. the burritos were more Indian than Mexican. starting from the tortilla, which was quite thick to be called a tortilla, to the filling that had the wrong wicy (was closer to some Indian veggies) everything was wrong. Maybe the Indian is ok, but recommend to stay away from Mexican food. also this place many mosquitoes on the evening evenings.

Excellent food and service. beautiful pets play to make it a dog and cat friendly place. the highlight was the English oncle who made the best coffee we had there.

Definitely a place with a chill vibe. The owner is the main highlight just as a lot of ppl describe in their reviews You will definitely enjoy his sense of humour and music taste.
